Brand documents communicate your brand, focus, and objectives to potential employers. They can include a resume, LinkedIn, cover letter, and/or executive bio. It can also include a professional portfolio if you’re looking at creating one of those.

About 70% of clients I work with will need brand documents. Your brand documents are literally those tangible assets that you’re going to take to the marketplace to represent you, your expertise, and your strengths. It’s important they are cohesive, polished, and professional.

Some people find it challenging to articulate their focus and put it on paper. There are a lot of resume templates online where you just fill in the blanks. However, the content is king here. It’s not the format. You want your documents to be unique to you and of a high quality.
